We sat down to chat with Rudi Hariman, co-owner of the newly opened Brews Brothers cafe in Chippendale. We asked about what it's like to rent in the new area and how they find working with Satisfine Foods.

Can you tell us a bit about Brews Bros and how it began?
I’ve been working in cafe retail since '98, but this year, in May, a mutual friend offered myself and my business partner, Kevin, the chance to start a new cafe at his space for reduced rent.
We worked with the owners to create a cafe ready for the new apartment complexes that are springing up around the area.

When customers come to Brews Bros what do they experience?
We get a lot of repeat local customers who love Brews Brothers for the good food, service, and great prices. We pride ourselves on not being too expensive, despite being an inner city cafe. It’s always customer first here!

What products do you onsell, why you love about them?
We on-sell the Brookfarm Macadamia Cranberry Muesli. We use it for our delicious granola breakfast bowl. We order it from Satisfine Foods who also supplies our sister store, Fluid Espresso. We love it because it’s extremely healthy with banana, yoghurt and almond milk. A great wholesome way to start breakfast.

What is the best item to try at Brews Bros?
Our eggs benedict! Local tradies also love our egg and bacon wrap.
